Hello twin! I think I am ticking on OK! So far have:

• Booked venue for ceremony & reception
• Provisionally booked registrar
• Booked photographer
• Got bridesmaid dresses
• Decided on flower girl's dress but am waiting for BHS to have a sale!
• Won a first dance lesson in the Hitched raffle!
• Done some rough stationery designs
• Taken photos of venue to help me plan decor
• Written guest list
• Getting quotes from a caterer (catering not included at venue)
• Decided on the prosecco we want to serve as first drink - whilst we were on holiday in Italy so need to find it over here now!
• Narrowed down lists of readings & first dance choice
• Looked round a hotel as a possible first night venue
• Got rochures for honeymoon
• I know exactly what I want for my hen but haven't started to plan it yet!
• Started to lose some weight before I go dress shopping!

Ok so not much set in stone yet but I feel like we've made lots of decisions so far. Hopefully we won't change our minds too much!!!

How about you? Do you feel like it is ages away or just enough time away?

So far

• Booked Venue (ceremony & reception at same venue)
• Booked DJ (in-house) Pencilled our date with the registrar
• Booked Photograpers
• Got my Daughters Bridesmaid dress (bargain half price in Debenhams!)
• Got my wedding shoes (another bargain from the Sale in Next about 2 yrs ago!)
• Chosen a 'theme' - Vintage (very loose theme, but want lots of sparkly vintage things and lots of lace) with lots of cream and green
• Decided on our cake (from M&S or Waitrose)
• Today decided on our rings, going to get them on Saturday
• Tried on a few dresses, but dont want to make my decision until I have lost some weight (about a stone and a half)

So much still left to do, but as we booked our venue in October 2008, I have been trying to pace things out a little so that I dont do everything to soon and have nothing left to do closer to the wedding!

I would say that it seems ages until our wedding date, but then again time has really flown past recently!

Awesome - sounds like you have got loads done! I need to get on with things! Whereabouts are you getting married?
