FAO Flow and any other Suffolk people! (BT)

Helenia, 29 March, 2014 at 14:37 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

We're planning a girly weekend for one of my friends who is expecting her first baby at the end of May. She didn't want a baby shower so we're having a "last hurrah" weekend of fun instead! We've booked a lovely B&B out in the middle of Suffolk, near a village called Lavenham. I think Sudbury is the nearest town of any size.

Do you have any recommendations for things to do around the area and/or places to eat? And (not just open to local people!) any suggestions for fun activities/games we can do at the party? She'll be about 34 weeks at the time so obviously nothing too strenuous, and nothing alcohol-centric, but apart from that we're open to all sorts of suggestions!

The eels foot is apparently a nice place to eat. I asked the OH as his brother lives near lavenham. He suggested an airforce museum-i'm not sure he understands the concept of a girlie weekend!!

We are coming next weekend! Arriving lateish on Friday and leaving on Sunday. I've found some walks and stuff to do around Lavenham/Sudbury, but Jimmy's Farm looks excellent so I might try and persuade people to do that as well if we can fit it in. Thanks for the suggestion!
