Ahhh, bless you, thanks I see what you mean now. How are you feeling about it now?? Your engagement ring is fabulous, I think I would be scared of putting a ring round mine now you've said you've had second thoughts. What width is band?

It's 3mm. I have pretty mixed feelings.

I like:

It's super heavy, hopefully worth a lot for the kids in the future etc. It's also very shiny and new as they cleaned both! I've had it on for about an hour (is that bad luck?) and im warming to it!

I also have huge shrek hands, im really tall, so anthing smaller I think may have emphasised this. I found this when trying on er's, round stones of the same caratage (word?) didn't do me any favours but this diamond really looks stunning

I think the problem is that I just love my er ring soooo much. It is beautiful on it's own and I think that the WR is taking a bit off it ?

Not sure, but I have gone from hating it to thinking it is actually ok in an hour, hopefully it will have grown on me a bit more by the end of the honeymoon!!

I can't tell...I need to see 'the hand' to make a decision. I think it's looking so in your face as we're staring at it closely? I wanted 3mm, and my ring is only half carat (not *only* but ykwim!?). Nah, not bad luck. I tried my ER ring on before he proposed...that's bad luck

A local independent jewellers. High street was soooo expensive!!

I don't think I would be happy with anything tbh but yeah, think it's a grower! I'll let you know in 3 weeks when im back off my honeymoon! ?
