FAO Kadence (I think)

Well that was a bit random, I just this seconed logged on! Yes t'was me that made the bags, still itching to tell the BM's about them but I have told them if I start to give a clue to tell me to shut it!

They were pretty easy to make, my first took around two hours but once I had the knack they only took an hour each.

I started by just sketching the design on the jute bag in pencil, then painted away with regular kiddies poster paints (you need to put a piece of paper inside the bag so the paint doesnt sink through) You may find you need to load up your paint brush, and make sure the paints not too runny. I actually used an old eyeshadow brush which I found so usefull as the fibres are much denser/shorter so I could paint much easier and quicker.I then sprinkled some loose very fine glitter on certain ares et voila! Job done! Still need to add a pretty bow the side, but I love them.

Forgot to add that I used a cotton bud with the fluff removed to do the smaller areas like lashes and eye detail, and i went over the outlines once dry with a black ball point pen

need to think of something that can go with them i.e yours has a dog! Mind you saying that my sis is a make-up artist so could incorparate that and my bessie is a hairdresser. My lil cousin is into rock and the beatles, elvis, (shes 11 but old before her years!).

It's a nice way to inject their personality - my sisters has a picture of bag full of baby bits with 'yummy mummy' on it, as she's a new mummy and my cousin has a movie 'action!' thingy as shes studying film at uni!

You could definitely do a bag spilling over with make up brushes, and a bag with scissors, hair brushes and a hair dryer for your other one!

Thanks Lady_lyla! A few hitchers did ask me to, but in the end I had to decline as I'm finding it hard enough to find time to plan my own wedding as I work away a lot.

But they are pretty simple to do, and cheap so you should have a go!

Thats what I thought!! I'm doing one for my sis, Best mate, Lil cousin and my mum. Sis i@ll do the make up up like you said, Best mate will put a couple of rollers in her hair and have her holding a hairdryer in one hand and scissors in the other. Lil cousin im going to do a mini vw camper van and a piece sign and maybe the beatles sign and my mum will have 2 lil dogs!!
