Hi, Just thought I'd start another thread in response to your question about this necklace . Due to it being a fairly new designs all the orders for it are for weddings still to take place but I will get a photograph for you of me wearing it so you can see how it sits. I'll do it shortly, just about to get dinner. x

Hope this helps. All my designs are made to measure so you can specify the length ensuring it's just right. x

    Hi,

With pearls it would be the same price so for a Silver Plated clasp it would be £22 or Sterling Silver clasp it is £27. Here is a design with 4mm Pearls and 5mm Swarovski AB Crystals but you could change the sizes of beads and if you wanted the pearls can be the largest beads if you wanted them to have more of a focus. Also the arrangement of the beads can be changed for example you could have 2 pearls together then 2 crystals etc, 3 crystals together and then a single pearl etc. So basically all my designs can be adapted in various ways to suit.

If you want to see how a certain arrangement of beads looks I can mock a design up for you without any problem.

The pearl/crystal design was for another hitcher. Hope that helps but if you want to know anything else just ask. x

Would you mind doing a mock of every 5th bead as a pearl ? Thank you for all of your help .

    Hi,

Of course, not a problem. Can you email me so I can get back to you with pictures? I will try to do it tonight but I have a design consulation with a bride and bridesmaids at 7pm (work for the NHS during the day) so I'll try and get it done after the girls leave but if not I'll do it for you on Wednesday.

    My email address is ******@**************.**.**.

    Thanks

    Thank you for the pic.

I really like it. I love the picture but it looks even better on! My dress is below and don't think its that clear but there is a lot of detail around the neckline - would you personally put this necklace with the dress.? I think the sweetheart neckline and drop go lovely together but am unsure as to whether it will be too much detail?

    Thanks

Hi, It would be good to know how you are wearing your hair and any possible hair accessories you have or just thinking about? I don’t think the necklace will be too much unless you are wearing a really high and sparkly hair accessory. Your dress neckline with the teardrop design will be lovely together. I wore a solid sparkly necklace from the Swarovski shop (got it before I made jewellery) and my dress was extremely sparkly and, in my opinion, it wasn’t too much as I kept my tiara subtle. You can view my wedding photographs here to see what you think - http://www.jbdavies.co.uk/Boyle/album3/. The all crystal necklace is designed with 4mm crystals so it’s sparkly whilst keeping a dainty feel to it whereas if it was made with 6mm crystals then it could be too chunky and ott with your dress. I’d be happy to chat to you about further if you want to email me – ******@**************.**.**. x

Slightly off topice but.. Your photos are FAB! Your dress was so pretty and nothing like anything I've seen before! And I see what you mean - the necklace was a statement piece without detracting from the gorgoeus neckline of your dress.

Back on topic.. Well.. I am wearing my hair down and wavy, with a small (about 4cm high) tiara (slightly taller than the one you wore) and it is complely filled with Crystals. I will get a photo at the weekend (it's borrowed from my mom). I am also considering wearing a veil trimmed in diamante's - subject to whether it suits me when my hair is a tad longer, If I do wear something different to the veil it is likely to be a freah flower on the back of my head.

I will show my mom and see what her comments are.

I know she is keen on a necklace we found on google such with a sterling silver chain and then only 1/4 filled with crystals and a drop, but I don't think it will have the impact i'm after. Decisions decision!

    Thanks for your help x

Aw thanks. My dress was a bit different which I loved. I didn't really suit tiaras so it had to be a tiny one in height, was 2cm, which surprised my hubby as he thought I'd turn up in the biggest one possible!

Do you have a pic of the google necklace? I can also do necklaces which aren't fully beaded using a variety of stringing materials including chain.

This pic might be helpful as well. This bride had my Cluster tiara and Crystal Drop necklace and the necklace is heavier than the teardrop one you like and I don't think it's too much. x

I like suprising the H2B - he has so many pre-concieved ideas about what I will want. You must have been very happy overall. It all looks fab - have seen the cake in a bridal mag and it's in my "ideas" book.

This is the kind of thing she liked - am I right to asusme it's made of smaller crystals than the ones you use?

I think it is pretty, but i'm not 100% sure that it's gonna show up to the same level in photos etc.

Hi Sorry just getting time to go back to the threads from yesterday.

That necklace is made with diamontes instead of Swarovski Crystals like I use so that isn't something I could create just quite the same but I can do another similar design with crystals dropping down from the chain and having a long drop.

You'd need to be careful that the drop on the necklace isn't too long as you don't want it to tuck under your neckline. The necklace looks quite long in the picture but it might sit as a choker and have an extension chain at the back to adjust the length but if you do end up buying this necklace it would be worth while asking what the length of it is.

If your tiara is made with Swarovski Crystals then in my opinion you'd be better to have a swarovski crystal necklace but it wouldn't look out of place if you didn't. I just like jewellery to match where possible. It might be made with diamontes though similar to the necklace. If you want to email me a picture of the tiara feel free and I can discuss some options so you can then have a think about what you prefer and show your mum various ideas. x
