I see you are back! Where have you been hiding? Can you flash your Vera dress yet?

During the early stages of wedding planning I had a look on a website and the two I saw (not the nicest dresses in the world) were around £8500-£9000 from what I remember but I'd imagin the sky's the limit (esp. if it's a bespoke design ?)- TBH i wasn't that impressed with what I saw- yes I freely admit that if I could have afforded one I would have had a different opinion

Well when i looked at some in selfridges they were sample sales and reduced fro 10k to around 1-2K, but i didnt think they were that special ifykwim, they just looked like a nice wedding dress, you wouldnt look at it and know it was a VW

I don't think most of them are that special to be honest. Apart from the one from Bride Wars - that one was amazing.

I didn't really love the one from Bride Wars (Kate Hudson's one, right?)

The sash annoyed me, it looked wrong on the waist of the dress!

I have 2 vera dresses- plan to change 3 times throughout the day so that my guests dont get bored of seeing me in the same one- set me back a good £70k but thats small change really.

    Nope, quite serious.

I don't really do AMQ and I wasn't really interested in the royal wedding.

    Poor performance on my part.

Actually I'm not sure about this thread. I can see why many of you are thinking that there is a little bit of wishful thinking & dreaming going on here but if you go through Mrs A to B 's posts she is very consistant with what she says. So she is either a very good liar who doesn't seem to trip herself up with silly mistakes or she is genuine. I would love to have a flash of a bespoke vw dress if there is one around!

I'm going with this option but would love to be proved wrong.

If she is lying, she has kept to the same story for about 150 different posts which is no mean feat & very impressive! If she is telling the truth I am very jealous of her financial situation being able to afford a big bash at Blenheim Palace.

Same thing isn't it? I seem to recall reading somewhere that she gets an enormous allowance from her father. Either way, if it is true I wouldn't say no to having that sort of wedge!
