Mine is! Entirely up to you! I've got all my groomsmen matching apart from OH is wearing pinstripe trousers where everyone else has plain ones!

Yeah I originally thought he could wear what he wants, but actually he's got quite a big part to play so he'll be dressed up like the other guys in the wedding party. Except that my OH and his BM and his ushers are all Scottish, so they're all wearing kilts, but we'll get my dad a nice suit and matching shirt/tie/buttonhole as the rest of the lads.

My stepdad is wearing the same as the other men as he is walking our son down the aisle, ahead of me walking with my Dad. I didn't want them to wear exactly the same As obviously my Dad needs to stand out? There is no FOTG for him to match.

Should he have the same but different waistcoat or something? h2B wants the same cravat as rest of the men, so don't want him to look like the only different one.

    Aaargh.

My dad isnt wearing the same. OH only wants him and the best men in the suits the same, our dads will be giving cravats or ties/hankies n the colour scheme so that they match in

Has you dad asked not to be the same or is this something you want? May be stating the obvious, but surely he will stand out as he will be the one walking next to you? All ours are wearing the same thing, could you not give your step dad a different flower or something?

It's up to you but mine did. He has a very important role in the day, walking me up aisle, giving me away, a speech so it seemed only right that the dads wear the same suit and groom and best men for us.

But it depends on your wedding and the feel you want.

I always believe that the father of the bride should wear a different coloured cravat etc.... well thats just an opinion of a photographer.... sometimes its hard to see the difference between the groups of men.
