Favour help? FLASH

sarahc1988, 1 April, 2012 at 21:08 Posted on Planning 0 6

We have the ivory box with the luggae tag and the lace to tie it on the box with or

to go with our colour theme, a sage green ribbon with the ivory box and the luggage tag

We have a vintage theme for the wedding but not to much of it if that makes sense. The cake has lace and the post box has lace with the sage green ribbon. So im unsure on whether to use lace on the favour box or the sage green ribbon.

Please help very confused :-/

Thank You

I would be tempted to try a lighter coloured luggage tag to compliment the ivory box more, to me the contrast is too stark. I like the satin ribbon, it looks lovely in sage Smiley winking

The lace isnt stiff enough and looks limp

Personally I prefer the lace and I think it looks absolutely gorgeous!! The brown luggage tag just goes do well with the vintage look of the lace. It really does look gorgeous and had now confirmed my decision of what to tie my luggage tags with. Do you mind me asking where you got the tags and lace? X ps what are you putting in them?

Im torn between the both of them, im trying to intwine the sage green into the favours somewhere, I suppose I could have green sweets to go inside. Still not totally sure on what to put inside yet.

The tags are from ebay, just typed in luggage tags and they popped up they are about 7cm in length. The lace is also from ebay with a search of lace ribbon...reasonable in price too, 4 metres for around £2.

Could I ask what sort of favours your having cupcakebride?

    Thanks for your help.

Why not use both? You could have alternative lace, ribbon, lace, ribbon, going around the tables. I think it would lovely, and would match your scheme perfectly.

I am a big lace lover but I don't think there's enough of a contract with the cream box, brown tag and white lace. I think the sage ribbon will be more striking.

Yes of course. We have decided to do homemade favours so I am currently having all my family and friends collect Jam jars and we are going to make chutney for the boys and jam for the girls. Then put little cloth tops on and have Brown luggage tags with the name to double as a place setting :-)
