Hi Everyone

I am TRYING to plan my wedding for June 2010 & I have no clue about anything!

I think we've mangaed to find a venue....Thanks to a few suggestions on here!.....But now im trying to find some wedding favours!

We want something abit different and fun, but all i keep finding is bottle toppers & salt & pepper pots which isn't really what I'm looking for!

If anyone has any ideas please help me!!!

Thank you

    Hi,

I make chocolate favours that are a bit different and most of them can be in most colour schemes. My website is www.polkadots.co.uk or I am in the Hitched Directory, there may be something that interests you. I have a lot of new moulds and shapes I have yet to put on the site so it is worth asking if you had a particular thing in mind,

    Best Wishes,

    Lee Michelle x

    Hi

I was thinking of having a caracturist (If I can find one in East Sussex). We are thinking of having a subtle theme of entertaining and quirky.

We are having small boxes that we are decorating ourselves to match the other stationery, and filling with retro penny sweets

Here are the boxes, and here are examples of some of the sweets we are using

I think it's called Spring Moss. It's grosgrain ribbon, but I had to order it from USA through work.

We are getting married in December so have decorated tiny white enamel buckets with the guest's name, our initials, the year and hand painted holly. We are filling with those little dairy milk minatures and putting a tartan bow on the handle to match the men's ties.

Christmas is such a lovely time for decorations for a wedding. Simple things like holly can be dressed up to look amazing.

You will have to show us your christmas wedding pics!!

I was thinking of having small pots of home made jam with personalized labels on them, or hand-made sphere candles (but that would require buying some extra equipment so need to work out what is cheeper - 90 Jars or the wax etc)

I also really like these mojito kits - but thats way above my budget.... ( also a bit too 'hot weather' related and we're getting married at the beginning of April) -

these are also really cute and easy to make

I wanted to have min-champagne bottles - pink for the ladies and normal for men but this is going to be WAY too much money!!! So i think we may have alcohol minatures (not decided on variety). I wasnted something that would definitley be appreciated!!!!
