Favour Sizes

Sarah-Em, 28 October, 2010 at 21:08 Posted on Planning 0

We've decided to probably have sweets (although undecided what type yet) as our favours, partly to keeps our mommothly growing costs down and just because we couldn't think of anything else that would be suitable for all of our guests. I was originally going to have little favour boxes and decorate them the same as whatever I end up doing for the rest of my stationery, but I realised I've probably taken on too much of a huge task as I just don't have the spare time to be that creative (Sadly ☹️, damn F/T job!!) so we're opting for the little organza favour bags instead in our main wedding colour - Sage green, I've found I can get them dirt cheap, so thought I'd get on with ordering them tonight so it'll be another things I can tick off of my ever growing 'Things To Do List', but I just wondered if the ones I've seen are a reasonable size for favours.

What d'you reckon? 7 x 9cm, is that a generous enough size for favours? Would I be able to fit in a small handful of sweets?

Not sure if it's big enough as it depends what sweets you're putting in - but remember that 'favours' are meant to be a simple token (traditionally 5 sugared almonds representing something or another) not a meal replacement Smiley smile
