First wedding related film that springs to mind is Mystic Pizza.

27 Dresses is quite good aswell. Erm, the Wedding Dress is another good film. It's got Dougie Howser in it (can't remember the actors name) and it's about a dress that goes around a few different weddings IYSWIM, quite a nice film.

I like Father of the Bride (the 90s remake with Steve Martin) - how lame does that make me? ?

Best Romcom (if you can categorise it as that) is Sex And The City - the only DVD I refused to sell when we cleared a lot of our stuff a month or so back. I know I can't watch it in Oz but I intend to wear it out before I go! ?

You can't beat Father of the Bride. Love that film!

Also saw 27 dresses on Friday and was a lot better than I thought.

But favourite girls night in films have to be Dirty Dancing, Sex and The City or Ghost.

Oooh wedding related.... Muriel's Wedding ("you're TERRIBLE Muriel"!), Big Fat Greek Wedding, and the Wedding Singer.

Good girly films... I've always liked An Officer and a Gentleman myself. Weep.

Sliding Doors is a goodie, as is Muriels Wedding - can we add Stricly Ballroom to the list too?

One that just occured to me is So I Married An Axe Murderer - dark wedding comedy - love it!!!!!

I don't normally like romcoms and wedding films but I do like Love Actually, Dirty Dancing and Strictly Ballroom. If Secretary and Shaun of the Dead count I really like them!

Ah yes, that most famous of all romantic comedies where the young lovers live happily ever after commit suicide in order to be together.

    Pearl Harbour? Hilarious! ?

I watched confetti the other day, which was surprisingly funny

pearl harbour was beyond dreadful. whoever told kate beckinsdale she could act? i'm guessing the same person who told tilda swinton she is a natural beauty who never needs to wear make up...

Pearl Harbour was the biggest waste of time I've ever spent in the cinema. Normally I at least fall asleep through boring films but I was so annoyed at just how bad it was that I spent most of the film making "Pshaw" and "Oh for God's sake" type comments to the annoyance of my then OH.

This is a FAB film https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372532/

Makes me laugh, and cry. I love it.

Has anyone mentioned The Postcard? ? OK, not strictly a rom com, but it's such a beautiful film, if you don't mind crying for hours afterwards!

I love "Only You" with Robert Downey Jnr and Marisa Tomei. Vaguely wedding-related in that she jets off to Italy three days before she's due to get married in order to find the man a fortune teller long ago told her she was destined for. Pure schmaltz but I love it. RDJ rules.

Serendipity is another favourite. John Cusack can do very little wrong, imo.
