I'm making truffles and putting them in little ivory favour boxes with gold ribbon and a luggage tag with their names on so they are also place settings.

We are having bundles of pencils with our names and the date on tied together with lovely strips of material, bars of soap that i am going to make, bags of miniature shortbread biscuits (again made by me) all in large baskets so people can help themselves. Their escorts cards are going to be pyramid boxes of loose leaf tea. I know it is excessive but hey i just love spoiling everyone!

we are hopefully having these as favours / guest place names - will be individual for each guest with their name then ours and wedding date/short message but as just said in your shot glass post I'm waiting to hear back from them! Should look nice though hopefully in our wedding colours - we are also having big retro sweet filled jars as centre pieces - it's going to be like a candy store - sugar and wine rush for everyone or what!

We're also hopefully having CDs for guests of our wedding songs…we're really into our music and hopefully naming the tables after gigs we have been to together so should fit in well. BUT my boyfriend is meant to be sorting all this and it seems (in his opinion…) a bit like hard work sorting sticky labels for cds and getting templates/software for it, blah, blah - I Want Them!! Can't believe we've left this so late so really need to crack on over the next 8 weeks. It will be worth it <**repeats whilst rocking**>

I am hoping to create a vintage/english feel to my favours (I wasnt having any until I saw this idea!) and saw something nice in Bride Magazine this month. You can make them yourself..and are small jam jars, with the material of your choice for the lid (ie floral, for vintage feel) with whatever you want to put in them! Something like pastel coloured sweets (ie dolly mixtures etc) would look nice, or you could personalise some depending on the guest!

Because we had a casino/james bond black tie theme we tried to keep that running through the favours. We had black organza bags filled with black and white dice, chocolate playing card, replica james bond casino royal million chips, all tied with a personalised tag of our names and date.

Am going taditional - as i no someone i.e my future MIL ill have a problem with my favours as with everything else (shes still trying to split us up) so i thought i may as well go with something everyone hates lol. But although no one seems to eat them i think there really classy and elegant and i have kept mine from a wedding from about 2 year ago as a keepsake reminder. (sad i know). there in hot pink bags.

As we are having a Alice in Wonderland theme we will be having tiny bottles of pink vodka, with Drink Me tags for the adults, and jars of dolly mixtures with Eat Me for the kiddies.

I havent got a photo as yet but mum and I are making shortbread snowflakes with white icing and a sprinkle of edible glitter. We will put then in clear bags with a label which will double up as place name. We have had a practice run and they look fab.

Think that was to me? In which case they are for Birthmark Support Group - they've supported my family when my niece was born with a severe hemangioma. We also have badges for Great Ormond Street Hospital where she has received treatment and Everyman Testicular Cancer as OH's brother has had this.

Where are the choc bars from? LOVE these?

We are trying to keep costs down so are probably going to have personalised big jars of sweets - 1 per table - u can get them for around £15 each filled with a personalised label on the jar and then they are kinda doubling up as table decorations too!

LOVE the bags and the stickers - so might get these sorry stealing your idea.

We would like a way to incorporate place names with the favours too so are looking into this!

We are making our own jam in small 8oz jam jars. Thought it would be nice for our guests to take home and enjoy. Perhaps even sit and eat on a slice of toast whilst remembering our wedding day ?

I love the alice in wonderland idea!

We are having small cellophane bags with chocolates insides, tied with ribbon and a tag with the person's name. They're doubling up as placenames too. Not very exciting, but we went as plain as we could on the wrapping so we had more budget for the chocolates ?
