Fawsley Hall weddings

RachaelandKevin, 19 December, 2012 at 18:05 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hello,

We are very close to booking Fawsley Hall as our wedding venue and wanted to speak to anyone / couples that have already married there to talk about their experience. We are planning to get married in Knightley Court, and have some concerns over the quality of service. Anyone got any comments on this or any other points?

Thanks

Rachael

    Hi,

I attended a wedding a Fawsley Hall in Knightly Court. It was a beautiful wedding and ran with no hitches. My friends didn't have anything but good things to say about the service etc.

    Hello,

I too was looking at Fawsley Hall and had concerns about the service. From when we made the enquiry they were very disinterested and we had to chase them several times for further information and rates. Unlike other venues, which were incredibly helpful they seemed like they couldnt care and asked for a lot of money as a deposit without offering Ts & Cs or any kind of enthusiasm for the fact we were spending a lot of money with them. Friends and family that have used the hotel have also advised me that the level of service and food etc is variable. This is also evident on Trip Advisor.

Having said that, the venue is stunning! The venue has everything too for us, right location ,bedrooms etc, so I am in a real confusion about it all.

Where do your concerns come from Rachael?

    Hello

our concerns are mainly from trip advisor. To be honest all communication with them has been very good we also went for a meal there the other day and it was lovely the service was great and they rang me back when they said they would. We are going to the wedding fayre on the 13th but we are pretty sure we will get married there. Our experience with them has so far been very good

    hope that helps Smiley smile

    Hello,

I am considering Fawsley hall and there customer service has been exceptional any questions I have asked, have been responded to very well, even the operations director has been helpful, I am close to booking but my main concernes are:

The lack of natural ight in the main room

    The bar is seperate

The cost of the hotel rooms for the guests that want to stay.

So those thinking of booking, what are your concernes if any, I have a major headache with the registrar though..or lack of

I can only tell you from a Photographers point of view!

The light in the main room I found fine to shoot in.

The bar when I was there was at the back of the reception room. It was a little bit small for the amount of guests there I found but it was in the same room. Has this been moved or are you in a different room? I am talking about the room that also has the seating upstairs.

Even though this wasn't a concern, the food there was amazing, the service was good and the grounds were perfect for photos.
