February/March 09 Brides

Souns to me you have pretty much organised. I am getting married week tomorrow & I have:

Dress - final fitting was last night, ordered veil & tiara last night as well.

Shoes - Have got these - so need to wear them in though haha!

Suits - 7 out of 10 suits have been delivered in wrong size so correct sizes coming Weds - fingers crossed!

Flowers - have been paid for

Presents for parents (both sets) - Not even started yet, completely stuck on ideas!

Presents for ushers, BM & bridesmaids - Done

Rings - we have got these

Photographer - Paid, just need to contact to make sure all ok (again haha!)

Venue - All paid & final numbers done

Hair - friend doing it and had a few practise sessions!

Make up - im doing myself, bought it all today

Favours - All done, just need bagging day before (woman providing bags is doing it though thankfully!)

Table centres - Done

Seating plan - Done

Jewellry - is in major discussion....my mum was lending me hers & its beautiful.....but my nan has gone and bought me a necklace, which is nice but my mums looks nicer so not sure what to do!

Left to do is.....

Bridesmaid shoes (don't get me started on them!)

Flowers (using fake ones and still fiddling on how to get them looking nice).

Mens suits all need final fitting and picking up but that can't be done any faster as it's with Debenhams and they're on hire.

That's it really, some small pieces of paper to shuffle but can't think of anything else now.

I am 5 weeks tomorrow and I know this list is going to frighten me when I see it all together on one big list, I normally try to break it down!

Buy FG cardigans/shrugs and shoes.

Buy ribbon for FG dress sashes and attach.

Buy mini-FG present.

Buy underskirt for older FG dress.

Make table centrepieces.

Decorate 4x artificial bay trees for reception.

Decorate guest book and post box.

Finish making thank you cards.

Buy thankyou gifts for Ushers and for Auntie for making cake.

Have fitting for underskirt alterations.

Buy knickers for wedding day.

Wrap all thankyou gifts.

Finish putting music onto ipod for reception.

Make CD of music for ceremony to give to venue.

Buy handbag and pashmina for me.

Write list of songs for musician to play at reception.

Have engagement ring polished.

Have pre-wedding photo shoot.

Meet florist to confirm details.

Book manicure before wedding.

Do wedding make-up trial.

Do wedding hair trial once tiara arrives.

I think I'll feel better about it all once I've had my Hen party next weekend, as I just keep thinking about that at the moment, as it's the next big milestone IYSWIM?

put together ceremony cd

choose ceremony vows/words, have run through with registrar (booked for week before)

get some makeup brushes (got all makeup last week after trial, friend giving me unused brushes of her own)

Page boy gifts

Best man gift

put photographs in frames for photo table

assemble favours

assemble kids activity bags and buy any extra bits

put together table decorations

phone balloon people to rearrange set up time

decide on buffet choices and meet with venue one final time

remind best man to pick up button holes and mums/mil flowers on the day

Hen weekend is currently doing my head in and is not until a week before the wedding. Have just had my sons birthday and party and got my daughters in 2 weeks time. so favours/kids bags are waiting until after then, but will do the paying bit, present bit and shoe bit soon, and H2B is hopefully sorting ring this weekend.

I think thats all. I'm sure I've missed something as that doesn't seem like a lot
