Feckin Royal Mail strikes again!

penguin1977, 14 June, 2009 at 13:22 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

Just spent 30 mins on the phone to Ticketmaster. Supposed to be going to see Oasis at Murrayfield on Wednesday. Booked tickets bloody months ago.

Still haven't received them so I phoned Ticketmaster who were able to confirm that they were sent on Thursday and somebody signed for them on Friday morning at 11.25am. Well it wasn't me or H as we were at work so who the feck was it????!!!!!!!

So now we have to prove that me and H didn't sign for them and I have to knock on every door in my block of 30 flats trying to find them. Then a claim has to go to Royal Mail for the delivery. I was like am I going to get to go to the concert? Ticketmaster can't confirm that or confirm if I'll get my £100 back.

Sorry - slightly ranting now. But I am sooooooo frustrated. I think its our shonky postman. We had £200 of Take That tickets left in our postbox (communal area) when they should have been signed for earlier in the week. I would rather have to go and pick them up from the central office to be honest than not sign for them myself.

Just had to vent. I really want to see Oasis and Kasabian. Looking forward to drinking lots of cider and reliving my yoof.

Get the delivery number, and there is a facility online to have a look at the signature.

Got that - no signature available yet. Will have to wait until tomorrow but am going to ask some of my neighbours.

Thats awful, surely they can provide the name of who signed for them for you?

Deliveries here get signed for over 100 miles away on the mainland, the companies normally tell you who signed when asked and from there we can work out which local delivery van has the goods so what day it should arrive
