So Tomorrow we have DS2's 4th Birthday Party... so been sorting that out, not much to organise than god!!.. Evening tomorrow we have his best mate and wifey coming round.. They are here all the time so I am running out of dishes to prepare!!

So i decided on Greek.. I have literally done them everything else in my repotoire? so this was it..

Baked feta and Tomatoes with Chilli and Oregnao for starter

A Filo Pie Filled with Spinich, Feta and Sund dried tomatoes and Peppers, with garlic and Lemon Roasties and Roasted vegie kebabs greek stylie (so red onions courgette and vine tomatoes maybe bit of red pepper) ....

So I get all food in...

He has cheek to moan NO MEAT.... FFS... I am not a veggie by any chance I love meat but some days you now you cant find a recipe??? And I am not gonna change it now?? No am I wrong?? He says they will want meat?? Surely not everyone wants Meat all the time??

I agree with you totally, we try to have no meat at least a couple of times a week, if its a major prob with your guests i would add lamb to your kebabs, prob part cooked so not to burn the veg iyswim

TBH I cant imagine my guests complaining?? its just him?? The guy,, he is a kicboxer fighter type person, so always on GOOD food?? IYKWIM.. yes he eats meat.. but really everything I doing is nice.. healthy etc..

Its just Dh he just moans if I dont give him meat.. although if I didnt tell him and just gave him it he would happily eat it.

Honeslty you can imagine our BBQs in summer ? its just meat meat for him lol

Sadly my hubby is the same (karate instructor) "meals not complete without meat" and the summer barbies are the same here?

before my hubby i lived with a veggie for 3 years so find it hard sometimes to adjust to the two extremes, we have a bit of a compromise in that we try and eat no meat for a couple of meals a week.

if you're happy with your menu go with it, it sounds yummy to me

It's def a man thing - my H and Dad are the same and see a meal as not a 'proper' meal unless it's got meat. Grrr!
