Finally....

I'm excited! with 2 days to go ?

Been up since 4.45 as I couldn't sleep. It's all a big mix of nerves and excitement. I don't normally do nerves, and can't work out what it is I'm nervous about? it's not walking up the aisle or saying my vows (helloooo, me, centre of attention - bring it on!). I've gone through a whole list of things I might be nervous about but can't pin it down.

The hairdresser/make-up artist/timing issue is now resolved, we are having some hair done before make-up.

We had our rehearsal at church last night, it was so much fun. I was persuaded to have the BM's walk behind me rather than in front, which I actually don't mind now. Bless my dad, I was telling him how it's a really short walk so don't rush. He kept saying just walk at my pace, so I'm thinking I'm going to be marched up the aisle. He actually went perfectly slow. I think he's been watching Father of the Bride and learning the left, together, right, together, left, together...

I couldn't stop giggling all the way through, or making little jokes which I really shouldn't do on the day as, well, it's meant to be a serious and special occasion, innit.

We then sent everyone to the pub next door whilst we checked the CDs worked. This man has kindly sent me a CD of his oasis tracks which we are having whilst signing the register. This was meant to be a surprise for h2b but I had to tell him as we were about to try them. Luckily, or unluckily, he already knew, I'm not sure if he'd seen the CD amongst all the piles of wedding stuff. And then we tried our exit music, which if I haven't peed myself giggling during the ceremony I think I will here. All the vicar could say is 'well, it's your wedding' ?

We then met the rest of them (Best Man, dad, mum, 2 BMs and 2 Ushers) in the pub for a few drinks. I love it how everyone is so excited about the weekend.

The weather's not looking great but not much I can do about that! we have umbrellas, that's all I can do!

I think all the nerves are just from the overall excitement about it and the stress of planning, although our weddings not for 10 months im starting to get all nervous as its flying by so god knows what ill be like on the day again its not the i do or walking up the aisle that scares me i think its making sure everything is perfect .....

Finished work last Tuesday, when I broke my wrist. The bishop has said that the weatger will be nice for Saturday, so can't really argue with that.

    Every cloud... then!

I think our vicar jinxed it when he jokingly said 'what a scorcher of a day it is, I hope you all put un cream on this morning' in the rehearsal last night ?

How exciting! Glad you got your makeup and hair problems sorted. Sounds like you have a fab time at the rehearsal and you'll have an even better day on Saturday, even if the weather is rubbish!

I think I must subconsciously be getting nervous now as one or two clients have commented that I have a nervous laugh when talking about the wedding! We're seeing the registrar tonight and I felt all fuzzy last night when we were choosing the vows.

Oh how exciting, sounds like everything is organised and ready to go now! Maybe its nervous excitement that you are experiencing.

I remember our rehearsal the day before and both OH and I laughed the entire way through, especially when we practiced the vows. I don't think the Vicar was overly impressed but it was all fine on the day and I loved every minute of our service.

Hope you have a great day (wish I could go back and do it all again..... how long do you have to wait to renew your vows? ?

Look forward to hearing all about it.

Just been for a full leg and bikini wax and have my eyelashes topped up - I didn't cry about my lashes like last time, instead stuck to my ground and even told her to trim some down after. Well done me! Wax friggin' hurt in some places though.

It did make me laugh when after telling her all about my wedding plans she said 'oh you'll love this idea, it's so tacky...' and then proceeded to tell me about some cheese board she has in the shape of a mouse ? I'm having a tacky wedding ?

Off out to chemist to pick up last bits for my emergency basket, whilst h2b takes vases to florist. It's all go here!
