I'm excited! with 2 days to go ?
Been up since 4.45 as I couldn't sleep. It's all a big mix of nerves and excitement. I don't normally do nerves, and can't work out what it is I'm nervous about? it's not walking up the aisle or saying my vows (helloooo, me, centre of attention - bring it on!). I've gone through a whole list of things I might be nervous about but can't pin it down.
The hairdresser/make-up artist/timing issue is now resolved, we are having some hair done before make-up.
We had our rehearsal at church last night, it was so much fun. I was persuaded to have the BM's walk behind me rather than in front, which I actually don't mind now. Bless my dad, I was telling him how it's a really short walk so don't rush. He kept saying just walk at my pace, so I'm thinking I'm going to be marched up the aisle. He actually went perfectly slow. I think he's been watching Father of the Bride and learning the left, together, right, together, left, together...
I couldn't stop giggling all the way through, or making little jokes which I really shouldn't do on the day as, well, it's meant to be a serious and special occasion, innit.
We then sent everyone to the pub next door whilst we checked the CDs worked. This man has kindly sent me a CD of his oasis tracks which we are having whilst signing the register. This was meant to be a surprise for h2b but I had to tell him as we were about to try them. Luckily, or unluckily, he already knew, I'm not sure if he'd seen the CD amongst all the piles of wedding stuff. And then we tried our exit music, which if I haven't peed myself giggling during the ceremony I think I will here. All the vicar could say is 'well, it's your wedding' ?
We then met the rest of them (Best Man, dad, mum, 2 BMs and 2 Ushers) in the pub for a few drinks. I love it how everyone is so excited about the weekend.
The weather's not looking great but not much I can do about that! we have umbrellas, that's all I can do!
