Hi everyone,
I've been lurking around Hitched for longer than I care to admit ? but we're now about to book our venue and have provisionally set a date (13 April 2014), so I feel I can now introduce myself properly. Me and OH got engaged when we were in Australia (he is an Ozzie) in February this year. However, we set about buying our first house as soon as we got back, so wedding planning took a bit of a backseat. We've been in our house for a few months now, and have finally settled on a venue and picked a date - booking contract arrived last night!
We'll probably have some sort of party in Australia for his Australian relatives and friends that can't make it over to our wedding at the end of 2014.
Looking forward to getting stuck into Hitched, and finally being able to plan my wedding!
