Well, many people who have known me for some time would describe me as a 'crafty beggar', but I mean ACTUALLY WORTHWHILE crafting skills!
I braved the sleet on Saturday and headed to Hobbycraft (ahh, that haven for middle aged women everywhere...) and I bought stuff to make table centrepieces, table numbers and invite accessories. AND THEY ALL TURNED OUT REASONABLY OK! For me, this is a massive achievement- I can't even tie shoelaces, let alone a convincing bow.

Mini life preservers to tie up the invitations with (bought the twine, etc. too)- we're not having these exact invites- they are the sample- ours will be the same but just blue / yellow with blue envelopes, but you get the idea:
