I love the leaves, but being completely honest I’m not sure on the squares behind them, or the layout. It just seems a bit harsh looking iykwim? Could you maybe do a fan of leaves and maybe pretty edging in your colours? I’d buy a pack of them and have a play around.

If you go for it you’ll have to have a very gentle hand, those leaves are a bloody nightmare to work with, but well worth it Smiley smile

When sorting your invites it may be worth having half an eye on the thickness (incl envlope) as over 5mm will mean that you have to go for a large letter stamp which costs alot more. 5mm sounds alot but I have a post office ruler with cut out holes for the sizes and its not that big

Yep I'm going to order everything I need and then play around with them, want to do it in my colours and make them my own still, just relieved I have a starting point! I bought 50 ivory linen cards and envelopes and then didn't know what to do with them! Thanks for the postage tip, I'll bear that in mind but I think we are lucky enough to be able to hand deliver most of them :-)

I think that they are really elegant and if you can do them yourself then so much the better. Well done on finding something you like that is so classically simple to do!

Excellent point, ours were touch and go, they only fit through the 5mm measure in the Post Office if you really rammed it and they wouldn't let us so we had to pay for a large letter. Even though they were normal small size envelopes and would have easily fit through letterboxes. Very annoying. And pretty much doubled the cost.

What you should get is a helix pricing proportion Ruler or salter do one the same called a PIP look on ebay. under £5 and you will find it usefull for all your other postal needs. Dont convince yourself that it gos through if you push and pull as the post office wont have any of that - it has to go through smooth and as well as 5 mm there are length and width restrictions also (all on the PIP) when you see 5mm as a hole/ slot you will be supprised how small it looks
