Finally !! - I've bought my dress :) flash !

2b_MrsB, 9 June, 2012 at 16:00 Posted on Planning 0 14

After my initial wobble over my dress, I went back, try it on again and wondered why I worried in the 1st place ?.

Next step is to find something to do with and wear in my hair (no veil), any advice on this would be welcome ?

Here's my choice -

Sorry for massive pictures.

Thank you for all your replies ?

I don't suit birdcage veils they just look OTT on me, think I'll end up a hairclip of possibly a tiara depending how I wear my hair.

    * goes to browse HIBs websites* ?

If your hair is long enough, I think you should definitely have an 'up do' and add a bit of sparkle to your hair with a tiara or diamante hair clip to off set the sparkly bits in your dress!

    Thanks everyone for your comments.?

Lilygrace- thanks for your link, I'll have a browse

Chickster - I'm thinking along the lines of your suggestion to add sparkle to my hair. to set of the sparkle in the dress.

Another thought I've had is to get my seamstress to add a little sparkle to the back of the dress, along the top and/or down the sides of the corset or possibly just at the corners of the top of the corset. Anyone any thoughts on this ??? would it be too much ???

    Hi,

I am about to get new stock on my web site including a little fascinator with birdcage veil so keep your eye on itas it could be what you want. If not what about a corsage flower or hairband wih side jewels. Your dress is gorgeous and has pretty details so something simple might work best so as not to detract from the beading.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for your suggestions Lynne, but I think I'll go for something a little simpler for my hair , maybe just some sparkly hairpins in the back and a small tiara

    My search continues ?
