I braved the snow and went to the dress maker on saturday to see my dress, its very basic at the moment, and not hemmed or finished, but just has some structure in it and she pinned the flowers on it to give me some idea.
The dress will be finished, with the bling and I get to try on Jan 22nd. She is also putting a lilac petticoat and the "one hoop" in - as these photos have no underskirt etc for now. So wont need to worry about a separate hoop..! result. The ruching effect is very subtle at the moment as its very loose, but this will be sorted and steamed in on the finished dress too, but it has sweeping gatherings from left to right.
I am even lucky enough that I can probably get away with normal lingerie and not Big knickers..!!! lol
But... its definately Cadbury purple with a lovely chiffon over the top.
But.. you get to see the dress structure and me in it.. (dont think I've flashed a pic of me yet.. !!)
I can't believe how slim I look, I actually have a waist. I have lost 2st 4lbs recently and can get into size 14 jeans but a 16 top still. Was a size 18 before.
What do you think girls??
