Find me something for my hair.

grace85, 26 November, 2010 at 11:30 Posted on Planning 0 24

I need some ideas ladies.

I've now got my dress sorted (finally) and my jewellery but i can't decide what i want to do with my hair.

Originally i wanted it down so it covered my tattoo during the ceremony but the earings that Lynsey has done for me are so elegant i don't want them hiden.

I'll flash a few things then you can all give thoughts, opinions and ideas. ?

Dress (sorry their big)

Jewellery

Hair ideas I've had

So what do you think??

I think a cheeky Birdcage veil with a nice bit of bling would go well, fit in with all the lacy-ness of your dress.

Definately go for a Birdcage veil with just a doamante brooch attached. Simple , elegant, perfect.

Just a thought - Lynsey made my a hair-bling and then I just attached a birdcage veil to it - I think Lynsey made your jewellry too - so maybe you can do similar, that way you know it will match your jewellery as she won't make you something that doesn't fit in ?

Can flash what I mean when I get home if you like.

Oh yes seeing the hair accessory I made for josiep might give you some inspiration.

I've got a side band with the same pearl element that you flashed

You know where I am if you want a co-ordinating hair accessory made. I've got so many new ideas in the pipeline so if you don't see anything on the website or my facebook page give me a shout. x

Would you mind Josie, that would be great.

I want something that i can leave in when i take the bird cage off so i've still got something in my hair.

Also i was thinking, if i went for the half up half down style would i need anything in the back or would it be ok with just the bling at the front?

Grace, i could swear on seeing your dress. After everything I said about a chinese dress not working for me... Well, I don't like to admit these things, but perhaps I was wrong!!

Honestly, I don't know you so I don't have to be nice, but you look stunning, and I can't believe the detail on the top of your dress - well done girl!!!

Anyhooo.. The reason I wanted to post, I tried on a dress simular to yours when i thought I was going for a vintagey feel, I tried on something like this but all in white, with a smaller hat and attached to a headband and all my my girls went potty for it:

It's not my thing, but for some reason they loved it with the dress......

I'm not sure if i'd suit a band Lynsey, i never wear them in RL. So it would have to be some sort of clip/comb.

If you want to have a think of something that would go with everything then feel free ?

Thank you Kayl, that means alot ? xx

I love those little top hat things but i don't think i'd wear one for the wedding. I'm havng a cocktail themed hen party and i am soooo getting one for that, ha ha.

You don't have to say thanks bless you, I honestly mean it. Perhaps if I wasn't so stuck is my silly old ways (at aged 23, hehe) I'd have seen this earlier!!

See the Tophat was totally not me, but everyone else went so mad for it, I have to admit it was fabulously made but because I kept thinking "it's not me" I wouldn't have had the confidence to pull it off. As a hen night treat sounds good though!

Most of the side designs can be combs or clips so if you see any element you like then it can usually be transformed into a band, comb or clip. I've emailed you a document showing a selection of my new elements so if any appeal we can chat about a design to match your dress and jewellery. Taking the circular pearl element that can be designed with extra strands with the rhinestones being used to bring the pearls and rhinestones together. x

I'm sure Lynsey will be able to sort you out but if you are still on the look out I too have many designs that can be made on combs or bands. I have access to a large number of brooches / elements that can be transformed into hair accessories so please don't hestiate to contact me for more information or suggestions.

This piece would co-ordinate with the rhinestone balls in your jewellery

Or if you wanted to incorporate the pearls as well as the diamante all of these would co-ordinate, its just down to preference whether you like flowers/hearts etc...

Or I can handcraft something with pearls and diamantes completely from scratch.

The new collection can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=143658462323010&set=a.111578235531033.11932.109659329056257#!/album.php?aid=33980&id=109659329056257

and bands on the website are here: http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/tiaras_bands.html

    I don't know.

Don't get me wrong i love my tattoos but don't think i'd feel right having them showing during the ceremony.

Do you think i could get away with having them out during the ceremony then?

I'm not bothered about after it's just during the ceremony.

I like this!! With the lace on the dress it would have a lovely vintage feel ? I also think a birdcage veil would look stunning but not sure how it might work with something like this...

Also wanted to say LOVE YOUR DRESS!!!!!!!!
