Finding a DJ

Do you have any friends or family to ask for recommendation?

Google in your area and compare them all for pricing / timings etc.

We found ours on Glasgow wedding guide so if you have anything similar from your area have a look on there.

Also we haven't met with ours first just booked him over the net, had a load of good feedback and only seen good reviews of him and he talks as little or as much as the couple likes, let us add as many of our own requests in and was really nice to chat to. I'm sure you'll find someone with what you're looking for

I do strongly advise meeting before booking. Your DJ is an important part of the success of your wedding. You need to have confidence in him and like him and the only way you'll know that is if you meet him.... or her. Our DJ was from a club we both love. We knew the music would be bang on our taste. If you have anything similar, you could search their DJs to see if one of those does private events.

We met with ours a while before. Pub beer garden, got hammered, ended up raving.

Or maybe you know some people who've got married who you could ask, or who could ask friends of theirs? That's how my H2B picks up any wedding/party gigs he does, they are just recommendations from friends etc.
