Finding a local steamstress for dress alterations?

HorseFan, 3 June, 2010 at 09:14 Posted on Planning 0 3

My dress shop isn't that local to me, and the steamstress they have recommended (for alterations) are even further away.

How can I find a more local steamstress? How would I know if they are any good???

I have had one suggested to me but she is too busy to be able to squeeze me in ?

I would recommend contacting local bridal shops as they all have either seamstresses attached to them or they have a perfered supplier that they use and should be able to give you the contact details.
