Finding the perfect wedding ring?

mrandmrsH, 18 January, 2013 at 10:37 Posted on Planning 0 7

Here is my e ring:

Its not exactly what i wanted but i am trying to get used to is as its from my lovely fiancée!!

We are now looking into finding a wedding band. This is proving difficult due to the shape! I didn't really want to go down the custom made route, but we will if we have to. Does anyone have a similar ring with their wedding band so i can see some options? I just want it to look nice, it doesn't have to be perfectly fitted. I have tried some on but no luck yet!

Thanks!!

I honestly wouldn't discount custom made, it really isn't as expensive as you think! Just make sure you avoid the "high street" and go for an independent jeweller if you can. I'm having my wedding ring made by a little jewellery workshop as my engagement ring is rose gold and i needed a band to fit round it. I did look at places like smooch, wedding rings direct etc but they wanted over £300 for a plain shaped one (and that was their off the shelf ones, not custome made as such), my jeweller is making me one to fit exactly for £120! it's definitely worth asking round and comparing prices as you can get exactly what you want and save yourself some pennies Smiley smile

Try Alba Rose - They are awesome!!!!

My custom made ring with 13 diamonds is an incredible £407.

If you just want a gold/white gold band it will be really cheap.

You send your ring to them, they email you designs and prices then they sed you your ring.

    Hi,

My daughters got theirs from Smooch and are really pleased with them.

Just wanted to say I think your ring is lovely, mine's also an odd shape but that's one of the reasons I love it because it's a bit different. I'd probably go down the custom made route personally.

This. We had ours made at the Jewellery Quarter and it was half the price as the shops.

    Hi,

Mine's a similar shape to yours and I found that a simple U band fitted quite nicely with it when I went into the shops. Have you tried any thing on? Might be worhting popping into a jewellers and asking what they suggest?
