So this is the finished piece..! Thoughts? OH doesn't like the white paper inside....Personally I think he can go sit in the corner and shush as I like them ?

    They are lovely.

    If you wanted to compromise with OH you could use a really pale purple for the middle bit- as in your pictures it looks a little bit like you have anyway and looks great.

    They look rustic & pretty. Agree that the white looks fine, or a lilac. Do you have card to cover the sticky out bits so the envelope doesn't tear in the post?
