Firefox help needed!

Is there such a thing as default connection settings on Firefox? I think I've managed to mess mine up as some pages aren't loading properly but being a total ejit I didn't make a note of the settings before I started messing about with it.

    Obviously there isn't then! ? Can anyone tell me their own settings so I can try them out? Or will that not work at all?

    Example: Yahoo homepage - brings up the main story, but not any other stories and no area to log into email. Also I don't seem to be able to log in on any pages (such as facebook, ebay etc) I can view the pages but it freezes when i try to log in.

    Any ideas?

    Not sure what you mean about connection settings?

    If I go to Tools > Options > Advanced tab > Network > Settings

    My settings are set to 'No Proxy' - I'm connected via a wireless router with a dynamic IP address if that helps?

    Sorry, I'm not being very clear. I mean in:

    Tools > Options > General > Connection Settings

    It's on my work PC and we are connected via a network cable. Does that make sense?

    Currently my proxy settings are 10.1.9.47 and The ports are 80 & 143.

    Hmmm, think you might be on a different version to me! I'm on 3.0.3.

    I'm on version 1.5! Can't update it either as I do not have the power....

    On IE sites are blocked (websense) but not on Firefox.
