From bits I have read there doesn't seem any reason at all why the Court won't allow contact, his ex sounds like a complete mare.

He's just text to say the court clerk has accepted the extra paperwork he wanted to submit so that's good. It's basically a position statement and chronology so the judge has a brief guide to the background and what MrKB is requesting.

Pooch - Social Services will be involved at some point and Cafcass (Court appointed social workers) so it's pretty likely the children will be interviewed. Today is more about getting an idea as to whether the children can stay with us or if the judge orders them to go back. The mum has told us all along she's happy for them to remain with MrKB but we are thinking she might change her mind once she's in front of the judge.

Oh tons of good luck KB3 - you guys deserve it to go in your favour.

We're seeing a solicitor at 11.30am this morning to go through H's case so I can share your feelings of nervousness!

That's fantastic news, I am really pleased for you and your H - hopefully a settled home life will help the girls come to terms with what's gone on. That doesn't sound great but I couldn't think of another way to phrase it!

He spoke with Cafcass about councelling for the youngest and she will speak to SS and get them to give MrKB a call. TBH she didn't sound that interested but she's only a duty officer at the court. We're going to speak to her school ourselves anyhow and will be changing GP so can speak to them about it too.

BGB- I wasn't there but bascially the ex was stating she doesn't want anything on paper, however the judge said as much although the order is merely a piece of paper, certain authorities need to know that MRKB is the resident parent, therefore an order must be drawn up and granted.
