If you're not getting married until next year I would wait until then to decide. We were originally having Thinking out loud cause loved it off Ed Sheerans album. Then it was released as a single and now hate it cause we've heard it a thousand times!!

We've now decided to have Kodaline, although a few people are having this I hadn't really heard of it until a few weeks ago so hoping it won't piss everyone off when its played! Plus we have no more weddings to go to now until our own so will have no chance of hearing it at anyone else's wedding.

We're having Hey There Delilah by The Plain White T's as it has a lot of meaning for us as a couple, was like "our song" when we got together and were in a long distance relationship I'm dreading the first dance though cos I hate dancing at the best of times never mind in front of everyone we know

My partner sent the track to me via messenger (we were living 350 miles apart at the time) and told me he would always be there for me no matter what. So it seemed the natural choice for our first dance!

Wearing my Rolex by Wiley is 'our song'..its the first song we listened to together one drunken night and sort of stuck haha! We may have that as a bit of a fun dance together after the official first dance.

My OH is a big Jazz fan and I am to certain level. My favorite Jazz track is Fantastic That's You by Benny Cater but we found out that there are words to this track.

The song is sung by Louis Armstrong. Both of us have agreed to have this as our first dance.

I'm having more trouble in finding a song for a father & daughter dance. Any advice would be welcome ?

Ours is Vance Joy - Riptide but played by our friend on his guitar - its a bit of a weird one but we both love it and it makes a reference to left hand man - which I my mind translates to husband!

We have actually got two songs that remind us of both of each other and different things. We couldn't chose one so we are having them both!

Our wedding is in 5 weeks 4 days & we still aren't set on a first dance song! ???

We have no idea!

We have decided on who it won't be by though..

Radiohead (including Thom Yorke, he'd be sneaky if I didn't include this), Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Adel, Dolly Parton (humph), Phil Collins (not fair!).

So we know who we jointly don't like, and who we singularly don't like.

We both do like Johnny Cash... including the song Hurt... but not really appropriate lol

I would have loved The Twelfth of Never by Nathan Carter, but OH isn't a country music sort of guy!

Pina Colada by Escape will probably be ours, we love Marvel and especilly Guardians of the Galaxy! Even if the lyrics aren't the most appropriate for a new married couple

We're still umming and ahhing over ours. 'Our' song is I Miss You by Avril Lavigne, so not very wedding-y!

OH hates to dance so he's suggested us getting a few lessons and maybe doing something to I've Had The Time of My Life; I'm just not convinced!
