First Dance Song

We have been thinking for weeks! Still haven't chosen our perfect first dance song. We want something romantic, but not cheesy, not too fast or too slow, probably but not necessarily quite modern. Looking for some extra inspiration! Any suggestions or thoughts very welcome. Emma.

We are having Van Morrison - Have I Told You Lately (That I Love You)

I was torn a couple of months ago when I heard a really lovely song, but I can't remember what it was now lol, but the OH said No, so we stuck with VM.

We are having Bon Jovi- 'Thank you for loving me' as it is meaningful to us and keeps us vaguely in the 'rock' category that we both like. Although I am also hoping to request another song later in the eve, trying to decide between Hey there delilah and LOVE by Nat king cole.

We're still to decide which one we want. But it will be a Frank Sinatra one (I like I did it MY way) ?

Something that is upbeat and will get people smiling, like a feel good song. I don't want anything dreary or soppy. Its not me or my OH

We have a dance teacher coming at the end of the month to teach us a routine because I can't and don't dance! Last time I attempted to dance - last December, I fell over and broke my coccyx (arse bone!) its now healed off center! I want to avoid breaking it again!

I am a huge Westlife fan so always thought I would have one by them. But decided it was too predictable and have chosen a cover of Teenage Dream by Boyce Avenue.

But having Westlife as we arrive at the ceremony ? I had to get it in somehow!
