First Dance song - opinions pls

I love this song too. A bit too slow for me though for a first dance. Have you tried dancing to it, you might find that its too slow to dance (or not).

What does your OH think of it?

Hhhmmm, love the song, who wouldn't but I agree with July, it could seem a bit slow and you might find yourselves just swaying slowly, but then if you're not both big dancers and the song means something to you, I would go for it.

If you love it then go for it. i agree it's definitely a good idea to road test it first though. some songs are a lot harder to dance to than you think they're going to be.

Thanks for the feedback...I'm worried about tempo as my H2B has two left feet!! I was also thinking 'Chasing cars' by snow patrol but maybe that's a bit loud? Also 'Hero' by Enrique? Any thoughts on those? Thanks x

They are all lovely songs but again, maybe too slow to dance to. You would really need to try dancing to them first.

I know one of our favourite songs, is too slow for me to dance to but then again we don't really do slow songs.

Nice song ! and who really dances in a first dance - more sort of hold onto each other and sway !

I am now worried after reading some posts that people seriously prepare some sort of dance. I was just hoping to sway with my other half and whisper sweet nothings in each others ears about our new married life together...will I look a lemon if I don't prepare?
