First Dress Fitting - When?

I bought my dress in November last year, I get married in October this year and I will have my first fitting in August. It is definitely too early for one. like 6 months before at the earliest I guess

I get married in August, my dress came in at the end of March and I tried it on but my actual fitting with a seamstress isn't until end of this month. I doubt the dress shop would let you have your fitting so early as it would need changing again

Definitely too early! As others have said, 2-3 months before the wedding, ours is end Aug and my first fitting is at the end of june.

My first fitting is 7 weeks before my wedding!

I brought my dress in October 2010 and have my first fitting in 2 weeks time, we get married in August.

First fitting is... TOMORROW!!!!! AAaaaaargh! wedding in 7 weeks.

My first fitting is 5 weeks before the wedding on 28th July and I get married on 2nd September.

I am planning on having one more fitting also. Hopefully this is enough time
