You wouldn't want to use a crisp packet as a johnny, would you? Especially not Salt n Vinegar*

*We were friends for a long time before we got together. Consequently, this is what typified our conversation. This WAS the first thing I said that made him think I was funny.

I have no idea (can't remember that far back) - but I would assume it was "Hello", it's usually how I greet people.

'Thanks!' (He was complimenting my artwork at college - who'd have thought compliments would've got us *nearly* married 8 n half years down the line......)

You're an accountant? Oh dear.....well, do you at least have a nice car?!

(I was drunk, very very drunk. And a 21 yr old student. Had just been introduced by his BIL - though why he felt the need to introduce him with his job title I'll never know!)

I met him at a joint bday party my friend through for me & one of his friends - we were ordering food & I offered up my phone to order as have free minutes on my contract - he goes 'oh aye, sure just you sort yourself out & the rest of us will starve'. We actually didnt speak for about 6 months after this lol. Turns out I didnt get his sense of humour - have to admit sometimes i still dont & get annoyed! lol

Canterbury, I'm sure you said you met your H2B in the queue and dropped something while you were trying to pay? My memory's terrible though ? But I do remember thinking that it was like something out of a rom com ?

    "who the hell are you"

Met on a chat sight he popped up with rather a rude comment - got my attention though!

His first words to me when we met for the first time "wow your hair is big" (I got it curled for the occasion he hated it)!
