FLASH.... Centrepiece Votes Please!!

Hi, we put together our mock-up table last night to see if we needed to add / take away anything.

We have 2 different flowers in the centrepieces, one done by me and the other done by OH.... we can't agree on what looks best! This is where you come in!!

Please have a look and vote which you think looks best!! (Please ignore the un-ironed tablecloth - I just grabbed it out of the cupboard and couldn't be assed going to iron it!!! )

    I'm also thinking of adding a floralyte in the gel beads.... do you think that would be too much?

    No 2 for me, No 1 looks like a giant taratula (sp). This could be just down to my huge fear of spiders!

    I like the colour of No1 but prefer the height of the flowers in No2, and a floralyte would look great.

    I think no 1 looks better in the photos but I have a feeling no 2 might look better in real life. tricky one...

    Number two for me, as I think it will look good from all angles, i.e. sitting down and standing etc. Well done both of you though, they look good! x

    Number 1 was OH's creation so he's very smug right now!!! lol

    I bought a Floralyte and you're right Sherrie - it looks great!

    Tray - the gel balls are water pearls - they are tiny but when added to water they swell up - it's a nicer way of displaying your flowers - your flowers still get the water they need and it looks pretty! You can also get them in loads of different colours!

    I think no. 2 is much better. IMO number 1 won't look as nice when sitting down, whereas the orchids look good from all angles. Also I think the photo of no. 2 isn't as good as photo 1 and probably doesn't do it justice (not that I can know for sure!)

    Definitely number 1 but I am slightly biased as this is similar to what we had.


    I put floralytes in and turned them on in the evening and they looked lovely !!
