Ok, breathe!
So! I went for my first dress appointment today with the intention of trying out the Veromia Sonsie 9012. Sadly they didn't have that one in as someone had panic bought their sample of it last week after leaving their dress too late to order one in. They had a few in very similar styles though so I tried a load on and although they were lovely, something about each one just wasn't right.
The ladies suggested I look at some different styles to get a feel for what I liked and I must have gone through a dozen gowns before trying out THE most unlikely candidate - an A line princess dress with lacy straps that they had in the off-the-peg section. The second I came out of the dressing room, the first lady burst into tears, then I did too when I saw it. SOOOOO beautiful. Actually looks like it was made for me and somehow makes me look 2 dress sizes smaller! It's unbelievably comfortable too!! I tried out a few more just to make sure, but that was absolutely The One. I kept hugging it when the women weren't looking ?
SO I bought it there and then! They had a deal where they knock 10% if you buy on your first visit too, so extra bonus there!
Here it is (and me!). Pardon the goofy smile but I couldn't stop grinning once I'd stopped crying!
