Can you give us some kind of idea what sort of thing you fancy?

    Cake v cupcakes?

    Traditional v modern?

    Colours/themes?

Hiya, we're having cupcakes and we're hiring vintage cake stands to arrange them on (this is cheaper than buying them).

This is an image i found on google and for the life of me i can't find it again! But the lady who is doing ours is http://www.cakesandcupcakesgalore.co.uk/page5.htm, and they'll be on pretty floral cake stands. We're hiring the stands from http://www.acupofvintage.co.uk/# and she's been really helpfull. This did take me 2 months to convince my OH and now he's excited about them as much i am ?.

It might not be much use to you if you want a cupcake style but here is mine. It will also have a dusting of glitter on it to make it extra sparkly ?

Love the profiterole & strawberry cheesecake! Save me a bit Smiley winking

Mine's quite traditional... It will look something like this, but with pale green icing behind the white flowers.

Lulu - wow there are no words, I'm hungry now!

BV - gorgeous, love the white flowers..

My mums making mine, not decided on flavours or designs yet as we have ages still but I want it to be something along these lines, although it will be seperate cake layers rather than stacked.

Ooh i was going to have cupcakes but it's getting to popular now. My mum makes cakes and we have come up with a plan. We're going to do a 5 teir (3 top ones are fake) and put them frisbee sweets (flying saucer things!) around the outside. As i'm having a vintage spring themed wedding, I don't want the blue sweets on so we are having to seperate them.... Guess i'll have to scoff them!

We're also going to dye the sponge inside the cake to make it a bit funkier

This is ours to go with our Apple theme. We're having 3 teirs with the middle tier being much deeper (top hat style) and probably fucshia ribbon around it. I know i have a cake twin! possibly Tray(numbers)?

Father in Law only lives about 4 miles away from the reception so have sort of left it for him to sort out the logistics - one less thing to worry about. I'm hoping to have it decorated with fresh flowers I think....
