Flash me your cakes please

I'm going to following this thread. I'm stuck on cakes too...

This is the prototype of mine that the lady mocked up based on our conversations before our first meeting.

The ribbon will be more lilac, the lace will be fondant and more shaped and there will be 3 tiers!

I had a black and white theme and always pictured individual cakes for the guests, with a bigger one to take home and share with people who didn't come. It was chocolate orange flavour ❤️

This is ours, but we'll have a couple of calla lilies at the top instead of an orchid

This is my inspiration pictures! My FSIL is going to be making it and we probably only have two tiers and we wont need as many cupcakes. My brother is a joiner so is going to make the stand for us. The flowers wont be edible as I'm probably going to use the paper flowers I've posted before so everything ties in. I'm really hoping she's going to be able to do the different colours inside as I'm going for lots of shades of pink on the day! I'm not totally sure how I'm managed to talk H2B into that

EbonyRose - can't believe that's the first cake you made both of them look great. Everything I see about your wedding looks amazing - I lived your dress and the Halloween/hello kitty theme is very cool.

Birdcages form part of the existing decor at our venue so we wanted something to fit in with what was already there. The cake itself was adapted from one of its makers existing designs I was quite keen for a unique design.

Yeah I quite like the naked cakes too, but my sister is ridiculously talented when it comes to icing and decorating cakes so I can't waste that!

I am having four tiers, two chocolate, one vanilla and one lemon sponge.

I am also being greedy and having a cheese tower but it was cheaper than having our venue cater for the evening guests!

Here's mine... Have three tiers instead of four! One fruit cake and the rest vanilla sponge! Found this on Pinterest and showed it to the lady doing my cake! I got some adorable blingly monogram cakes toppers can't wait to see the finish version!

Hi, no I found the pic on google and told my friend that that was the sort of thing i wanted...cheeky i know lol

My h2b's nan is making ours and his auntie's friend is icing it, I want it to look like this (but silver glitter not gold - our scheme is duck egg blue and silver). Don't think we're going to put any flowers on it, but I think it might need something extra. Our table names are super hero names as my bf loves them, so we might get a funny little super heros couple cake topper (and just take it off for the professional pics ? )
