Flash me your flowers, please

Storky, 2 March, 2011 at 13:32 Posted on Planning 0 14

Off to see the florist on Saturday. We'll be going for white predominently but after a rustic and elegant look. I'm thinking peonies, lily of the valley, herbs etc (for me, anyway!).

Would love to see the pictures you've saved or pictures of things you want/had.

Please inspire me, ladies!

Im going for this type of thing but with country flowers that are in season and pale vintage looking pink rose, place settings have lavender and herbs in them but dont have a pic on this computer, I was torn between a lily of the valley bouquet and these but the season is so short of LoV and not sure if my date will fall in it may be just too early so to save stress going for the other style

sorry if these have come up really big

Loving those, Nabs! LoV seems to be a tiny window. Shame as they small amazing!

Thanks, Sher, loving the green to freshen it all up.

Am going to get her to use some hessian or raffia or similar on mine.

    Anyone else with any flowers?!

My avatar is pretty close to the bouquet I am having. Paeonies, roses and some bright green guelder rose bits to perk it up.

    I'm having this style
but all in cream Vendella roses and bound with a piece of lace from my dress.

    These are the roses

My BMs are having cream carnations tightly packed together so they look all ruffly and gorgeous!

I have left my pictures with the florist, so can't show you exactly what I am hoping for. Mainly going for David austin roses, Herbs, sweet peas and lilly of the valley, hopefully some Jasmin to. Something like this but in big silver punch bowls.

I'm having these in two weeks time: seasonal and welsh (like me) so perfect timing really:

I have a selection of mismatched blue and white jugs for centerpieces: they will be filled with a mixture of daffs, eucalyptus etc
