I wanted flats too but also the height and posture of heels. Ended up with these and they are really comfy and easy to walk in.

I have done 3 pairs so far (I know ridiculous) If you really really want those shoes I would be happy to do them for you for the cost of postage. Find some that are the style what you like and comfy and would happily crystal them up for you.

These are mine, but they would probably make you tower your hubby to be ?

H2B suggested a shoes for himself with a heel, but i saw some with like a sort of built in platform inside so waiting till hes in a good mood to suggest them ?

I hate wearing shoes in summer. I basically survive all summer in birkenstocks and flipflops, so I'm probably going to wear something like:

But I also love Toms, so I might do this:

They are gorgeous aren't they! Ive done some with diamantes before, I just hope the pearls are as easy to work with.

I will be doing a pair of flats too, if all goes well with the heels lol.

    Mine are these, very comfy!

Katie Lou, I saw these on next when I was looking for bridemaids shoes, I don't know if they'd be suitable for you, they're similarish to the ones in your picture, obviously not quite as glam though:

I am also about an inch or two shorter than hubby 2 be so had to have flatter than average shoes! (boo hoo!!)

I love heels and will wear them on a night out but don't want to be taller on our photos.

    These are my shoes:

I nearly bought the first pair Miniloopie posted, but instead went for these since my dress is a bit delicate to carry off chunky heels, yet I can't walk in stilettoes.

I don't like the white/ivory satin style wedding shoes and wanted sthg a little more "me". These are mainly silver on white, so go with the dress but wearable afterwards as well. And comfy!

Ah these are lovely too - I have them in black and silver already and can confirm you can definitely get some wear out of them afterwards :-)
