Have you thought about palladium instead? It's cheaper and virtually identical in appearance and density.

Ours are identical, the only difference is mine is 4mm and his is 5mm.

They are from Cooljoolz, white gold and were £611 for both - includes free ER cleaning (they even rhodium-plated my poor little modest silver ER and the CZ stone is shining like a diamond!)

Think I know what kind of thing I'm looking for. We seen some we liked last weekend whilst doing our christmas shopping. Together the came to £1000. I know this is not a lot of money compared to some, but deff more than i had planned to spend. However Ive now widened my search and have found quite a few i like!

I know i want diamonds and the kind i have looked at are classed as eternity rings but I'm not going to be wearing my ER with my WR due to the shape of ER so know i want some sparkle on that finger.

Hi, Mines was from Fraser Hart in Glasgow:

    https://www.fraserhart.co.uk/p-4344-18ct-white-gold-diamond-set-wedding-ring-total-diamond-weight-050-carats.aspx

The pics dont do it justice so sparkly in real life Smiley smile i didnt want diamonds when i first went shopping (just wanted a plain band) but it goes beautifully with my ER! Def go try loads on first to see what sits best with your ER.

All the scottish brides in here seem to be from Glasgow area, no one near me! lol

I'm bored the now, nothing to plan that why i'm looking at rings. Hoping to look the now then see if they go into sale. If not i will buy it anyway.

I didnt pay that price, seems to have went up since i bought mine which is crazy! It was 950 when i bout it and we got it discounted to 875 cos we bought both rings at the same store, prob the price of gold or some rubbish is why it went up!

Whens your wedding? Where abouts in scotland are you? x

Wedding is on 11th August 2012.

Im in the Dumfries area, not much choice for anything here so we either pick from a small choice and prob pay over the odds or travel to glasgow for more choice. We checking the local ones first then we know what we can get at home when we go further afield.

Think about having a tungsten or titanium ring. It is not too hard to have a custom made ring. post or send me a pic of the band and I can see If we can do anything for you.

These are our rings - OHs is a palladium band, with the centre cut into a grove - you can't see on the picture but there is diamonds set all the way round the shiny bit - and it's engraved with "True love" and our wedding date,

Mine is 18ct White gold to match my ER - and had to be made to fit my ER, hence the funny shape. It's got diamonds set all the way around the ring.

Both came from a local jeweller who was a lot cheaper than any "high street" places - OHs ring, in goldsmiths was near £1,500 and we got his made for about half of that. Mine, was always going to be more because of the metal and shape, more diamonds etc.

Ours are both 9ct white gold, OH's is a plain band and mine has 1/4 carat diamonds around the top half:

And they were a bargainous £211 for both (plus insurance!) from HPJ. According to the RRP mine alone should have cost double that, so I left the shop with a smile on my face ?

Thanks ?. They were from Ernest Jones. H's was £550 and mine was £375. We bought them on credit, but we didn't pay any interest and they became 'ours' officially last month.

Not the best picture but this is mine! Had it designed and made at the jewellery quarter in birmingham. It has 99 little diamonds in 3 rows

This is going to be my beautiful ring! I love it. I originally wanted a plain band but was dazzled by the diamonds! There was another ring I loved but it didn't sit right with my ER. I LOVE this one though. I don't like the picture on the website as it makes it look clunky but its actually very delicate and sparkly!!!

They were from HPJ. Their website seems to be closing down, but if you want to buy from there you can go online to find your nearest branch. Not so many of them around any more, we used to have 3 in Glasgow and now there's only 1 (and technically not in Glasgow). Shame cos they have beautiful stuff at a fraction of the price of everywhere else! I saw a ring pretty similar to mine in H Samuels for £360, more than what we paid for both of ours!

Thanks Mrs Henderson! One would think! However..... because of the size of the diamonds it was surprisingly cheaper than expected and paid just under £1k ?

    I love these ring flashes.

Cant wait until I get mine so that I can flash.

Its a shaped white gold ring but instead of inset with diamonds, I am having it inset with rubies in a half eternity style.

    Very excited!
