here are my centrepieces! recption room is almost pitch black so i wanted something that would glow!(not as dark as the pics tho!)

* the petals on the top of the vases are tulip ones picked from garden!lol but they will be burgundy or ivory rose petals

Yeah its a massive hall, were not having a wedding breakfast and not getting married till 4pm then having a 'summer salad' buffet at 6.30pm, its mainly used for very large parties so has bar etc, just very dark after eating!

ETA.room isnt as dark as in photos, i had option of flash or no flas on camera and neither looked as it does!lol

Well, it wont get dark till about 11ish...... something I kept in mind when deciding whether to have candles or not..... i had them for the evening tables but the curtains were also closed.

    Thanks Naomi.

I must be really dumb, but how do you turn the lights on and off once it is in the gel?

You have to turn them on before you put them in but i think they last for about 30 odd hours, sherrie would proberbly be the one to ask, i dont know exactly how long but definatly long enough to put them on in the morning of your wedding?

Oh they're fab! Hmm, you've given me some inspiration - we're a December wedding so it will be dark when we eat, and we're not allowed candles in the venue. Something like this could work really well!

Yeah we wanted candles but they wont let us either! its soooooo annyoing but i think it worked out for the better in then end, maybe 115 drunk people and 57 candles may not have been a good idea and in real life i think these look better then normal candles!
