Just made a prototype of my invitations for my June registry office ceremony - we're doing our "proper" thing in Spain in September 2013, but it's easier to do the legalities in the UK, so we're just having close family for that and dinner afterwards. My full invitations will be similar design, but different contents.

That ribbon work takes AGES! And I have to punch the holes in each card, too. This is going to take forever!

No, the outer is just a sheath so at the moment the inners can just slip out. I am kinda thinking of attaching it all together, though, so they have to undo it all. What's your thoughts?

Yes, it would be lovely but I have a zip-up. I don't think it would look right with the back done like that, although for a different dress, I would love the idea! x

Personally, I would want to attach them somehow just so they couldn't fall out and get lost x

ETA I also think having to undo it all will add to the excitement of getting the invite but I would make the knot/bow at the bottom so it's like the back of the lace up dresses x
