Flash Tiaras please

tizmelou, 27 February, 2012 at 12:58 Posted on Planning 0 17

I'm after a pretty sparkly front tiara for myself and 2 side ones (not too big but deffo sparkly) for the bridesmaids and then 2 hairs 'things' for little flower girls with fine hair - not sure if tiaras will stay on but if they will then tiaras for them would be nice too i think...

Any flashes welcome? - Affordable as poss, not after spending a lot on these!

thanks in advance

My mum got me this one off ebay, I think it was probably about £50 or less as I don't imagine she would have paid any more than that as she is broke!

With regards to your tiara, it would be good to see a photo of your dress. If you are looking for a traditional tiara, how high would you like it to be? Does it need a lot of detail?

Ice Princess could be built up in the centre to create more of a traditional look like the tiara on the right...

Paige would be a good option for your little ones. This uses Swarovski crystals and is £20

This isn't a very good photo but I could do a mini side tiara for your bridesmaids like Darcey below using diamante and Swarovski crystals (or just one of the materials). Darcey is £30 but if you were buying 4 hairbands then I could do you a special price.

I hope that gives you some ideas. All items can be found on my website - www.louloubelle.co.uk - if you'd like any help please don't hesitate to drop me an email on ****@***********.**.**

Thanks for flashing your beautiful dress. I'd stick with my suggestions above with a tiara in the shape of the pearl one but made out of crystals.

Hi, it was a bespoke design so I'd have to check the invoice but I'd expect around £50/£55. This was made with pearls and diamante but could be made with other combinations of pearls/crystal/diamante or a single material.

Oh wow! Loving all the sparkles! I was thinking I just want a very plain band with a single row of pearls. (I love pearls and am inseparable from my pearl studs). But do you think that would look bridal enough??

    Hi Yorkshirebride,

It's down to personal preference but I prefer single rows of pearls for bridesmaids as I like a natural / unstructured look for brides. The Louisa band on my website can be seen below and was actually used in Cosmo Bride in a "steal her style" feature for a bride wearing a single row pearl band

For a bride I'd recommend a less uniform looking band. Natalie is shown below in freshwater pearls but would be made in Swarovski pearls too.

Or you could even have an adapted version of Glamour Puss with mainly pearls but just a few crystals to lift the look

All items can be found here http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/tiaras_bands_bands.html if you'd like a look. You can get me on ****@***********.**.** if you need any help.

    Hope that helps.

Absolutely, it's not just the one accessory that makes you look bridally and it's everything together so once you have your dress on, hair done etc you'd look every inch the bride even with a single band. I've got this single band and it's only £20, Hitchers also get a 10% discount.

    Thanks Lx
