**FLASH** your cakes!

froggy29400, 5 October, 2010 at 16:45 Posted on Planning 0 21

I've enjoyed seeing a few cake flash around so let's have a massive flash here!

Mine is still work in progress, cake made by H2B's Grandma and being decorated by MIL2B at the moment, with sugar leaves in different shades of orange. Here are the only 2 photos I have so far.

This was our cake. We also had cupcake pops (cupcake balls on a stick) for the evening guests similar to these:

My cake was chosen by H2Bs choice - it's growing on me since them!

Can't wait to see your finished cake! They look so odd without the decoration on.

Naboo there is a "how to" post on RocknRollBride at the moment - that's where I got the pics. They taste amazing too - like gooey brownies!

I only have a photo of the polystyrene blocks that demonstrate the cake atm:

We're having tartan ribbon round the tiers and this cake topper:

The croquembouche looks amazing as does the cake of cheese.

Very French!!! I haven't had one for years, I might have to order one if we ever have a post-wedding party in France!

I always said that when I get married That is the cake I would have! my husband tried it in France while at some friends wedding and absolutly loved it!

Luckily we found a french patissier who lived 1h away from us and was prepared to do it! (won't even discussed the price!)

That was my little french touch to our wedding! people absolutly loved it! ?
