Flash your guest books please?

Can't flash as on my phone right now, but we just have a plain silver one.

was just having a fingerprint free instead but my lovely Mum bless her, went out and bought one as a surprise and I didn't have the heart to say we weren't having one so will just leave it sitting on a table on the night and hope some people sign it

i really like the frames you get as well with you & OH's pics in and get everyone to sign the frame seen some people with guitars and things like that for people to sign instead and liked those ideas instead of the traditional guest books too many options haha.

Yeah there really is so much choice!

This is mine. We have got the camera and film, along with a photo wall if people want to use that!

This was ours, mum and I made it. The twigs were from a florist, they are in storm lanterns with some colored stones from Ikea. There are pearl garland (usually used on the mas tree!) ont he branches. Guests wrote messages on luggage tags and hung them on the tree. The plan was to stick them in an album with photos of whichever guest wrote it at the wedding. in truth they are all still in a box!

OMG --- i really want something different but OH wants a traditional book! SO does anyone do /know of beautiful bookS!! Or know a way to make your own x

I'm having a Polaroid camera with some badges and probs... Will probably get a groomsman to be in charged if snapping guest at some point during day and then have them stick the picture in a scrapbook I brought in Paperchase. (Will post a picture later)

We're getting married in a distillery so have managed to steal some cask ends from them which my H2B is sanding back. We'll then paint on out names and the date and get our guests to sign it. After the wedding we will either hang them on the wall or make them into coffee tables.

We had a little willow tree which was used for the table plan in the day then an alternative guest book in the evening. My florist made it & I bought the tags & some ribbon off ebay.

I love that idea - really unique and matching the day! I can't remember who it was sadly, but one bride a couple of months ago on here had an amazing wooden bench as a guest book - I thought it was brilliant! If you're at a loss and want something a bit different, but still a guest book, have you had a look on etsy and NOt on the highstreet? They should have loads of choice.

I'd love to make a puzzle for you. They are ACTUAL puzzles so they do come apart and when dispatched, come gift boxed. You can then have fun after the day putting them together while you read the messages. Most of my couples get them framed after the day and they look AMAZING!!!

Turn around depends on when you order. At the moment is 3 weeks but I expect to get busy again from January where times can go up to 3 months. I can certainly incorporate a Christmas theme. I have lot's of ideas so please do get in touch for a chat. *******@****************.**.**

We had a message in bottle idea. I can't see the pic above but I got ours from http://www.fingerprinttree.co.uk/

You get 100 tags (just remember to thread the ribbons through well in advance as I hadn't noticed this until the day before. Oops). We wrote a message to ourselves each and tightly rolled them up to show the guests how it should work. Looked really great and suited our theme of the beachy walks and shells collected for every table. In the end we only got about 20 filled in as my bridesmaid had made me a book and asked guests to add comments in the back of it. However, rolling the messages is quite fiddly, we discovered. It also explains why the rolled up messages the guests filled in were really loosely rolled and completely filled the bottle. If tightly rolled they would fit more in though. Be prepared for guests just folding them up and shoving them in too. Lol.

Ok on the computer now so hopefully the picture will work! Its beautiful!

The lady we got it from does different size bottles, we got the largest bottle and all the tags came threaded!!! Cannot wait for people to use it. Not having any other kind of guest book available so hopefully if guests only have one option they will write in this one!
