Flat shoes

cassmk2, 2 October, 2010 at 13:43 Posted on Planning 0 14

Me and my OH are pretty much the same height so i can't wear high heels. But i have had a couple of people say that i need to wear some sort of heel to stop me from walking oddly! Is this true or will i be ok to wear ballerina type shoes?

You'll walk even more oddly if you wear a heel height you're not used to. Just wear what you normally do. heels do help you to carry yourself better, in the fact that to balance you have to throw your hips forward, stick out your bum & boobs. But they are not for every one.

I do normally wear heels when i go out, but i'm not too worried about being a bit taller then my OH. But i don't want to watch our wedding video back or look at photos and i am an inch or so taller. I'm quite paranoid about being so tall

I'm thinking of wearing flat shoes too - hadn't even thought about how it would affect my walking! Just wear what you're comfortable with I reckon.

Can any B2Bs or OMs wearing flats flash me their shoes for inspiration please!?!

WSS - whatever you are comfortable in......both physically on the day (no sore feet) & mentally afterward (if you are concerned about the pictures etc, only you can decide that!)

Mine are a kitten heel by Irregular Choice. I bought them from Schuh. They're so comfortable!

Beautiful shoes ladies! I think i am going to get a selection of flat and heeled shoes out of my wardrobe (and of course tell my H2B i have had them all forever ?) and compare my height with my OH. The other problem is i want fuschia pink shoes to match my BM's. I need to start searching
