Fleabay question

ruby slipper, 30 August, 2009 at 13:11 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

My husband put his old Jag on ebay and the winning bidder bid £415 for it. He is based in Paris and was supposed to come yesterday to buy it but missed his Eurostar so came today. My husband went to meet him from the station and he's saying it's got more rust than he thought (my husband detailed exactly what the problems with it were in his listing) He's saying he'll offer him £275 for it now. Where do we stand, if he's bid £415 is there a case for going to ebay about it??

If your H listed it with all the rust on it sounds like he is trying it on. i would tell him not to bother and you will re-list it.

Stand your ground. He's unlikely to walk away when he has spent a substantial amount of time and money getting to the UK to pick it up. Cheeky sod.
