Obviously we didn't buy for everyone - I got a 4 pairs of small 3-4 , 6 pairs of 5-6 and 2 pairs 7-8 x

Lol this might sound a bit weird but I thought of you today, I nipped in there and got 15 pairs of medium ones.

I got some right funny looks at the till as well hehe!

Hahaha. I got weird looks when I bought mine too... You would have thought they'd be used to brides bulk buying them!

I bought some ribbon off eBay which had been personalised with our names & wedding date and tied this on to the flip flops in place of the normal plastic tag they have holding then together. They look good if i don't me saying so myself!

I bought some dark blue ones a couple of weeks ago but really hoping to find some yellow ones too. What colours did you all see when you were in store? The manchester primark is always a nightmare and I can't face battling my way in if it seems they haven't got more colours in yet!

Erm I saw goldy yellow , pink, blue, black - but I was only looking for colours like that so maybe that's why. My family lives in Newcastle and our primark is a light year behind theirs on stock so yours must be stocked better than ours , what with it being such a big city ! X

Went and bought 8 pairs today and a lovely vintage metal basket from txmaxx, can't wait to add a slogan and see a few people use them

Thank you for this - just been in! Wasn't sure how many to buy - I have 50 guests so bought 12 pairs assuming approx half women and only half will want a pair??? I got the sparkly ones (£1.50), 6 black and 6 white pairs ..

Ours don't have them in yet. Was gutted. Will keep trying. Love the ribbon idea.

Hopefully this is the best place to post this rather than making a whole new thread...

I'm thinking of doing a flip flop basket for our wedding, but just wanted some experiences of how they actually work. Has anyone been to a wedding where they've had flip flops, or are there any OMs who did this for their weddings? I'm just wondering how comfortable flip flops actually are for dancing. I often find I have to concentrate on holding the flip flops with my toes, if that makes sense! Any experiences would be helpful

Their fab. You don't have to get them with a toe post in them. Just get the slip ons. I'm buying some strips of mesh dimonte and gluing them on. Just to jaz them up a bit.
