Florist HIBs - help please!

NickiK, 1 April, 2011 at 20:10 Posted on Planning 0 2

I'm hoping some clever person out there is going to be able to help me!

I've had a meeting with my florist today and she suggested a bit of a twist on my bouquet, which I'd been thinking of ivory avalanche roses, very uniform in size and shape - she suggested a mix of avalanche, eskimo and akito roses for a bit of variation, with a couple of ranunculus dotted around as well. I loved the way she described it but I can't picture it at all!

Has anyone got any pictures of bouquets they've done with a mixture of rose varieties (all same colour ideally!) or roses and ranunculus?

Thanks in advance!

I can see where she's coming from - I also like to see a bit of variation rather than everything domed into exactly the same shape with all the same flowers although the 'domed' style is still fairly popular. Here's a couple I've done with different sizes of roses or interpsersed with something to break it up, although not all in ivory:-

Actually, the Bride who had the pink and taupe bouquet above with the bear grass, brought me the same photograph that you have in your avatar! Because she was very tall though, I advised her to go for a slightly elongated bouquet along the same lines so it was more in proportion and she was glad she did when she saw it.
